Due to the nature of variables such as weather and tides, this trip can only be booked online after speaking with our staff and confirming your date. A 20% gratuity for our guides is added to ensure exceptional service and a seamless experience on the water. A 50% deposit is required to secure your date.

Book a Corporate Picnic
Show them you care by taking them out kayaking. Our professional guides will gear up your group, orient them to the kayaks and the art of paddling, then lead the group around on a scenic tour around Pillar Point Harbor. Along the way, you'll hear fascinating tidbits about the local wildlife, the natural history of the area, and the famous Mavericks big wave surf spot off of Pillar Point. If conditions permit, we may even be able to leave the harbor and venture out into the open Pacific.

Following the harbor tour, your group will return to enjoy box lunches and beverages at our scenic picnic tables overlooking the harbor, where everyone can relax, recharge, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. It's the perfect way to unwind, connect, and share good company away from the office.

Dress

We provide wetsuits and waterproof paddle jackets for all classes, rentals, and tours. You bring sun block, sunglasses with retention strap, synthetic sweater, shoes that can get wet, and a hat. A change of dry clothes is recommended in case you get wet during the trip.

HMB Kayak Co. Cancellation Policy

Weather & Participation

All HMB Kayak Co. events are subject to cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions or low turnout. If HMB Kayak Co. cancels at any time, you may reschedule at no charge or receive a full refund. NO refunds will be given after a service has been performed.

Rentals

Cancellations for all rentals (bike, kayak, and SUPs) must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled booking time. Any bookings missed or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full amount, with no refunds issued.

Custom Trips & Corporate Events

For custom trips and corporate events, cancellations made 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund or be rescheduled at no additional charge. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the event will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. HMB Kayak Co. will allow a one-time rescheduling request, which must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the event date and will incur a fee of $25 per person. This option allows you to reschedule your event once within the same calendar year. No-shows are not eligible for any refunds or credit.
